About the role

This is a way into performance design with no commercial experience required. ROIcamp has been driving traffic to its own dating products since 2011, and buyers need dozens of variations every week: fresh copy, different first frames, resizes, versions for different GEOs. Those variations are the school itself: the environment teaches you performance, because every layout you touch reports its own CTR and CVR. You never wait for a “like it / don’t like it” verdict — you open the tracker and see which of twenty versions actually spent. A Creative Producer works beside you: setting briefs, catching mistakes early, and walking through your results each week.

What you will do

  • Build variations of working creatives from briefs: new copy on statics, video first frames, colors, composition.
  • Resize for Meta/TikTok placements — stories, feed, Reels — without breaking the layout’s point.
  • Adapt creatives for Tier-1/Tier-2 GEOs together with localization: swap the copy, the face, the context.
  • Handle simple editing tasks: subtitles, cutaways, trimming UGC footage.
  • Generate images with AI tools — we teach from zero, subscriptions are on the company.
  • Keep the creative library tidy: naming, versions, so anyone finds the right file in a minute.
  • Join weekly number reviews: which of your variations landed, which didn’t, and what follows from that.

What matters to us

Required:

  • A portfolio of any origin — study work, course projects, personal experiments. The main filter is neatness.
  • Confident Figma: components, auto-layout, pace.
  • Deadline discipline: a 24–48-hour pipeline does not wait for inspiration.
  • Readiness to judge your own work by numbers, not by likes in a feed.

Nice to have:

  • Basic video editing in CapCut or Premiere.
  • First experiments with AI image generation.
  • A sense of how an ad differs from an illustration.

What you get

  • A performance school no course sells: hundreds of tests on real budgets instead of invented case studies.
  • Numbers on every creative you make — feedback that even middle designers rarely get elsewhere.
  • Paid AI subscriptions and training on generation tools.
  • Mentoring from the Creative Producer without micromanagement: a clear brief, a deadline, a debrief.
  • Fully remote from day one — work from wherever suits you.

Growth track

Junior → middle designer with your own concepts: a realistic horizon of 6–12 months if your variations’ numbers back it up. Then the fork: motion design or the Creative Producer track. The creative department sits right next to buying, farm and analytics, so from your first weeks you see where you can grow inside the team.

Compensation

$500–800 base to start, with a review once your variations spend consistently. Payouts arrive on a fixed date every month.

Process

30-min screening → portfolio review → a compact test up to 2 hours: variations built on an existing creative → offer. The whole path takes up to 7 business days — no weeks of silence.

Questions about this role

Do I need commercial experience?

No. You need a portfolio in any form — study work, personal projects, course practice. We look at neatness, speed and the willingness to work with metrics rather than taste.

Will I create or mostly resize?

Honestly: at the start — mostly variations of working mechanics: new copy on statics, placement resizes, localizations. That IS the performance school — you see in numbers which changes work. Your own concepts come with experience.

What tools do I need?

Figma — required. Basic video editing (CapCut / Premiere) — a plus. AI generation tools — we teach, the company pays for subscriptions.

How is my result measured?

Speed and quality of executing briefs (24–48h deadlines) plus the performance of your variations in campaigns — CTR and CVR are visible per creative.

Where can I grow?

The track: junior → middle designer with your own concepts → motion or Creative Producer. Criteria are your creatives' numbers, not tenure.
