Media buying and traffic arbitragein dating since 2011

Dating traffic. That’s all we do.

ROIcamp is a media buying team focused on dating projects. We buy traffic and convert it into paying users. We don’t chase leads — we count LTV. In dating since 2011.

What we do

We buy paid traffic for dating products and stay accountable for what it becomes downstream: signup, subscription, renewal. That is why our metric is a paying user and cohort LTV rather than a click or a lead.

Buy

Meta, Google, TikTok, push and native. In-house farming, agency accounts, our own tracking — buyers get infrastructure, not headaches.

Convert

Our metric is not a lead — it’s a paying user. We see the funnel end-to-end and optimize for it.

Scale

A profitable campaign gets an uncapped budget. Decisions are made on numbers, not gut feeling.

Who owns each stage of the funnel?

The path from a click to a renewed subscription is split across five functions. Buying is only the first of them, which is why most of our open roles have no direct connection to purchasing traffic.

  1. Click
    • buying
    • creative
    • account farming
  2. Signup
    • QA
    • tracking
  3. Activation
    • product
    • QA
  4. Subscription
    • payments, PSP
    • QA
  5. Rebill
    • analytics
    • finance

Analytics and tracking run through all five stages: without them no stage has honest numbers.

Which traffic sources do we work with?

Meta carries the bulk of the volume. The other sources come in where they are cheaper than the Meta auction, or where they reach an audience Meta cannot.

  • Meta — the core source: farming, agency accounts, fast creative rotation
  • Google — UAC and Search within the Dating & Companionship policy
  • TikTok / Snapchat — younger audiences, UGC production
  • Push / Native — scale for selected GEOs and products
  • SEO / Content — a long-term asset that never gets banned

Why do we work only with dating?

Because 15 years in a single vertical buy what breadth cannot: our own products, historical data on how a paying user behaves in every GEO, and rates above the market average.

15 years in one vertical. We didn’t “enter dating last season” — we’ve been in it since 2011 and know how paying users behave in every GEO.

Focus. No gambling, nutra or crypto side quests. One vertical, mastered in depth.

A clean company. Legal entity, contract, fixed payout dates. The bonus formula is public — you see it before the interview.

Dating is often labelled a “grey” vertical — a label that grew out of the adult segment and the aggressive creatives of a few players. Mainstream dating, which is what we work with, means legitimate dating products with official apps: both Meta and Google allow their advertising as long as the 18+ policies are met, and since 2025 Google runs a dedicated Dating & Companionship certification for the category. The vertical is regulated, not banned, and it can be worked by the platforms’ own rules — without cloaking.

What do we pay?

The bases below are pulled from our open roles and span every function, not just buying. This is the fixed part; buying roles add a share of the profit on top.

LevelBase, $/monthOpen roles
Junior — entry roles: farming, assistant, design$250–8005
Middle — independent buyers, analytics, creative$700–3 00011
Senior — scale and technical infrastructure$1 600–3 2002
Lead / Head — team leads and department heads$1 800–6 0004

Adjacent levels overlap because the ranges of different functions sit on top of one another.

What a media buyer earns

A media buyer’s base in our open roles is $1 000–3 000 depending on grade, plus 10–20% of the profit their traffic generates. With a working campaign a middle buyer lands in the $1,500–3,500 range and a senior in $3,000–5,500.

How do people grow here?

There are two tracks, and both start from roles that require no prior arbitrage experience. The timings are typical for our team, not promises.

The shortest honest route into buying runs through the farming department. We pay a base from day one, and training happens on the company’s live budgets — not on simulators.

  2. Buyer assistant$400–7006–12 months

How is a buyer paid?

A base plus a percentage of the profit your own traffic generated. The formula is fixed in the contract and published below, so you see it before the interview.

The bonus formula is public:Bonus = % × (revenue of your traffic cohorts − spend − direct consumables)

How does hiring work?

Four steps and up to 10 business days from application to offer. We reply to every application, including the ones we decline.

  1. Screening — 30 min. A call with the recruiter within 2 business days of applying.
  2. Hiring manager interview — 60 min. A head or team lead goes through your cases: sources, GEOs, numbers.
  3. Practical. For buyers — a numbers-based breakdown of a real campaign. No free work.
  4. Offer. In writing: base, percentage grid, payout date, probation terms.

Frequently asked questions

Who is ROIcamp?

ROIcamp is a media buying team working exclusively in the dating vertical. ROIcamp has been in dating since 2011 and employs 40+ people. We buy traffic on Meta, Google, TikTok, push and native, and we are accountable for converting it into paying users — not for clicks or leads. The team is fully remote.

Which roles are open right now?

As of September 2026 there are 22 open roles across five departments: buying (7), analytics and tech (8), creative (5), hiring (1) and finance (1). Bases run from $250 a month for an account farmer to $6 000 for a Head of Media Buying, and buying roles add a percentage of profit on top.

Who else works in a traffic team besides buyers?

Most of the team, in fact. Account farmers prepare and warm up ad accounts, creative producers and designers make the ads, QA engineers test funnels and tracking, the analyst and the tracking engineer keep the numbers honest, a PSP specialist owns payments, and a recruiter hires. Of our 22 open roles, 15 are not buying roles.

What does a media buyer earn?

A buyer’s income is a fixed base plus 10–20% of the profit their traffic generates. Bases in our open roles run $600–1 200 for junior, $1 000–3 000 for middle and up to $3 200 for senior positions. The percentage is uncapped and fixed in the contract as a progressive grid.

Do you hire people with no experience?

Yes — through the farming department. The track is defined: account farmer, then buyer assistant, then buyer, typically within 12–18 months. Farming starts at $250–500 a month and the assistant step at $400–700. We pay a base from day one; nobody trains on their own money.

Can I join without an arbitrage background?

Yes, and several of our people did. Paid media specialists, junior analysts and web testers already know most of the mechanics; what is new is account farming, funnel economics and the dating vertical itself. The tech, creative and analytics roles have no arbitrage requirement at all, and the buying track has an entry step through account farming.

How does the hiring process work?

Four steps: a 30-minute screening call with a recruiter within 2 business days of applying, a 60-minute interview with the hiring manager, a practical stage (for buyers — a numbers-based breakdown of a real campaign, never free work), and a written offer. The whole process takes up to 10 business days.

Is dating experience required?

For lead roles — yes, we look for people who already know the dating vertical. For middle positions it is a strong plus but not mandatory: if you are strong in your traffic source, we will teach you the dating funnels. For entry roles no vertical experience is expected at all.

Can I work from outside Ukraine?

Yes. Every role is fully remote and there is no office. The roles list Ukraine, Poland and Czechia as eligible locations. Syncs run in EET (Kyiv) during working hours and everything else is async, so a time zone within ±3 hours of EET works comfortably.

Do buyers spend their own money?

Never. Accounts, proxies, anti-detect browsers, spy tools, agency ad accounts and test budgets are all covered by the company. If a team asks you to run campaigns on your own funds first, that is a red flag — it is not how a company with a legal entity and a contract operates.
