Editorial policy

We write about the work we do every day. This page explains who prepares the material, where the numbers come from, and the rules the blog runs on — so you can judge how much to trust us.

Who writes

Content is written by people who work at ROIcamp: media buyers, team leads, analysts and recruiters. This is not a copywriting desk or an outside agency — the person writing is the person doing the work.

We deliberately do not sign articles with individual names. In media buying, an employee’s public profile is a real risk, from poaching to ad-account problems. Instead of personal bylines we offer verifiable organisational accountability: the parent company has worked in the dating vertical since 2011, the team is 40+ people, and the legal entity and contacts are published on our contacts page.

Where the numbers come from

We separate two kinds of data and always mark which one you are looking at.

Our own data. Salary ranges come from the fields of our open roles — what we actually pay, not a market average. Funnel figures and unit economics in case breakdowns are aggregated from our own campaigns: we never publish a specific advertiser’s numbers and never disclose offers under NDA. This data always carries an as-of date.

External facts. Platform advertising rules, tax rates and market research are linked to the primary source: the platform’s own policy, the legislation, or a study with a stated methodology. Where no primary source exists, we leave the number out.

How we verify

Before publishing, every checkable claim is matched against its source. Illustrative examples — a bonus calculation on round numbers, for instance — are labelled as examples rather than presented as reported results.

Platform rules and tax law change, so those articles state the date the information is accurate as of and advise checking the primary source. Nothing here is legal or tax advice.

What we never do

We do not promise specific earnings or publish income guarantees. A buyer’s income depends on results, and any guarantee in this niche is a red flag.

We do not sell courses or earn anything from training. The blog exists so candidates can find us, not to sell you something.

We do not publish paid reviews or mention services for compensation. If we name a tool, it only means the tool is common in the niche.

Updates and corrections

Every article carries a publication date and a last-updated date. Articles with moving data — salaries, platform rules, taxes — are revisited when the data changes, not on a fixed schedule.

If you spot an error or an outdated figure, write to pr@roicamp.com. We will fix it and update the date, and where the error was material we will say so in the article.
