About the role
Paid sources in dating live from ban to ban — accounts burn, campaigns die. Organic does not burn: it is the one traffic source no platform can ban, which is why we grow it as an asset rather than a side experiment. The company has been in dating since 2011, and your field is a portfolio of content sites for Tier-1/Tier-2 GEOs, where every site is measured in money, not rankings: how many registrations and subscriptions it brings. You report to the Team Lead SEO.
This is not agency work with twenty clients and reports written for reports’ sake. There is one portfolio, a long horizon and full access to monetization data: BI shows you how much revenue the cluster you ranked six months ago is generating today. Dating is a competitive SERP — which is exactly why winning there pays off for years.
What you will do
- Build keyword research and content plans for Tier-1/Tier-2 GEOs — in English and local languages, working with our localizers.
- Brief copywriters and accept their texts: cluster relevance is on you, not the contractor.
- Own technical SEO: audits, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data, internal linking.
- Grow the link profile: outreach, guest placements, donor vetting, domain portfolio work.
- Analyze beyond rankings: BI dashboards show an organic visitor’s path to registration and subscription — you optimize for that path.
- Run experiments: new clusters, page formats, fresh GEOs — each with a clear hypothesis and a deadline to prove it.
- Track algorithm updates and niche competitors — the dating SERP moves fast.
What matters to us
Required:
- 2+ years in SEO with organic growth cases you can show in numbers.
- Technical foundation: Screaming Frog, Search Console, indexation and Core Web Vitals.
- Link building for Western GEOs — beyond marketplaces.
- English B1+ for outreach and contractors.
Nice to have:
- Competitive verticals: dating, gambling, finance.
- Basic HTML/CSS and the ability to brief a developer precisely.
- Multilingual sites and hreflang.
What you get
- A compounding asset: a page you rank keeps sending traffic a year later.
- A transparency rare in SEO: you see the money your work generates, not just the sessions.
- Link and content budget matched to your plan — no months of sign-offs.
- A production team in place: copywriters and localizers are already on staff.
- Fully remote work and salary on a fixed date.
Growth track
Middle → Senior owning strategy for part of the portfolio → Team Lead as the direction expands. Cases decide the move: rank a cluster, show the conversions, level up. The direction is young, so the ceiling is not decorative — roles get created for people who carry more.
Compensation
$800–1,500 (middle) / $1,500–2,200 (senior) base + traffic KPI bonuses. Payouts on a fixed date.
Process
30-min screening → case review with the team lead → offer. Up to 7 business days.
Questions about this role
Is SEO a secondary direction in a traffic team?
The opposite: SEO is the only source that never gets banned. We build it as a long-term asset next to paid traffic, with its own budget for content, links and domains.
What sites will I work on?
Content sites and landings in the dating vertical for Tier-1/Tier-2 GEOs. The portfolio grows — new launches are strategized together.
What budget do I get for links and content?
Allocated per plan: justify the strategy with numbers — get the budget. Copywriters and localizers are already on the team.
Middle or senior — how is it decided?
By cases at screening: a senior owns portfolio strategy independently, a middle works within an agreed strategy. Range and responsibility differ.
