About the role
We are looking for a junior analyst who uses AI not as a chatbot but as a development tool: Claude Code, scripts, APIs, spreadsheets. You will be the right hand of the Head of Media Buying — gathering the facts behind decisions on real ad budget and automating everything that repeats. You report to the Head of Media Buying.
The company has worked in dating since 2011, mostly in the mainstream segment. Every day the Head of Media Buying decides whether to enter a new GEO, what competitors are doing, which traffic source to test, what the latest change to Meta’s rules means. What used to take an analyst a week can be put together in a day with Claude Code, Claude and ChatGPT — if you know how to frame the task, automate data collection and tell a fact from the model’s confident invention.
What you will do
Technical work:
- Automate research in Claude Code: scripts that collect and clean data from ad libraries, competitor sites and public APIs.
- Work with the APIs of ad and analytics services, export data to spreadsheets, build simple “collect → clean → calculate” pipelines.
- Small internal tools: scrapers, report generators, an automated weekly niche digest.
- A library of prompts, agents and templates for recurring tasks; fact- and source-checking inside AI workflows.
- Google Sheets: formulas, pivot tables and, where needed, Apps Script.
Analytical work:
- Global research: markets and GEOs, competitors in mainstream dating, new traffic sources, changes to ad platform rules.
- Competitor monitoring in ad libraries: offers, creative angles, funnels and how long they last.
- Short decision briefs: question → what we found → numbers → conclusion → sources. One page that reads in five minutes.
- Comparison tables: affiliate networks, trackers, tools, payment solutions — with prices and terms.
- Notes from key meetings and keeping track of agreements.
What matters to us
Required:
- Daily work with Claude and ChatGPT: deep research, files, spreadsheets, multi-step prompts.
- Experience with Claude Code, Cursor or similar AI coding tools — even on your own projects. You are not afraid of the terminal and know what a script, JSON and an API are.
- An analytical mindset: you check numbers, find the primary source and separate fact from assumption.
- A basic grasp of marketing and paid traffic: funnel, CPA, conversion, unit economics.
- Reading-level English for documentation and sources.
Nice to have:
- Basic Python or JavaScript, Git.
- Experience with scraping, APIs or automation tools (n8n, Make, Apps Script).
- Experience in marketing, targeting or analytics; familiarity with ad libraries, SimilarWeb or similar tools.
- An understanding of how subscription products and dating apps work.
What you get
- Direct work with the Head of Media Buying: you see how budget decisions are made and understand why.
- Paid subscriptions to AI tools (including Claude) and research services, covered by the company.
- Visibility into the whole machine: buying, creative, analytics and tracking work side by side.
- Fully remote work and payouts on a fixed date.
Growth track
You learn on real questions with real consequences and see right away how your automations save the team time. From here the path follows your strongest side: Data / BI analytics, AI automation for marketing, buying via the buyer assistant role, or strategic marketing. The first checkpoint comes after six months: your briefs have become a normal part of decisions, and recurring research runs on automations you built.
Money
$200–300 fixed. Payouts on a fixed date. The rate is reviewed when you move to the next step of the track.
Process
30-minute screening → test task of up to 3 hours (a real question from the niche; Claude Code and other AI tools are allowed and expected) → conversation with the Head of Media Buying → offer.
Questions about this role
Is this an analytical role or a technical one?
Both. Half the work is research and conclusions that feed the Head of Media Buying's decisions; the other half is automating that research: scripts in Claude Code, working with APIs, spreadsheets, internal tools. The organizational part (meeting notes, keeping track of agreements) is small and supporting.
Do I need to know how to code?
You don't need to write code from scratch without AI. You do need to be comfortable with Claude Code, Cursor or similar tools: not afraid of the terminal, clear on what a script, JSON and an API are, able to frame a task and check that the code actually does what it should. Basic Python or JavaScript is a strong plus.
Which AI tools do I need to know?
Claude Code for automation, Claude and ChatGPT for research at the level of daily work: deep research modes, files and spreadsheets, multi-step prompting. More important than tool names is the ability to frame a task, check sources and spot where the model is making things up.
What does "global research" look like in practice?
For example: how competitors promote dating products in a new GEO, which traffic sources appeared this quarter, what changed in Meta's moderation rules, which creative angles are running in ad libraries. The output is a structured document with conclusions, numbers and source links within 1–3 days, and over time the recurring parts get collected by scripts.
Do I need media buying experience?
No. You need a basic grasp of marketing and how paid traffic works: what a funnel, CPA and conversion are. We will explain the specifics of dating and buying, and you will see them up close every day.
Where can this role lead?
Wherever your strength pulls you: into Data / BI analytics, AI automation for marketing, buying via the buyer assistant role, or strategic marketing. You see the whole machine from the inside, so the choice will be an informed one.
